Got Milk? The Book (1999) describes two detectives “who could have come directly off the set of NYPD Blue”, the line “Are you looking at my cupcakes?”, a Hostess cupcake, and the officer putting a carton on the table and dragging it out of reach: “Do you want to do this the easy way or the hard way?” The art director’s dark prison-cell background was removed; the actor improvised “Are you looking at my Ding Dongs?”, but the cupcake line was kept to avoid a call from the makers of Ding Dongs (pp. 105–107). The script is on pp. 108–109; its closing card reads “California Fluid Milk Processor Advisory Board”. The book gives no air date.
The AICP Show archive lists it among its 1996 honorees (Advertising Excellence / Campaign, with “Trix” and “Full Body Cast”), client recorded as California Milk Advisory Board, production company Smillie Films, director Kinka Usher, director of photography Michael Trim, agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, art directors Sean Ehringer and Tom Rouston, writers Harry Cocciolo and Bob Kerstetter. The site’s “Isolation” entry calls this its companion spot and dates Isolation to November 1996; the AICP listing puts Interrogation at or before the 1996 show, so the year is left as c.1995–1996.
