“Moo Squad” television commercial — Dairy Farmers of Washington (video still)
Category:Regional or unofficial milk mustache piece
Collections:Regional and unofficial milk mustaches
Type:Television commercial (still)
Notes
A still from a television commercial: three teenagers on a lawn in front of a brick school building, under the title “MOO Squad” and a badge reading “DAIRY FARMERS OF WASHINGTON” around a cow, with “PRIDE” beneath. Small (480 by 360 px). No milk mustache.
Issued by: Dairy Farmers of Washington, as the badge reads. The researcher saved the file with the year 1999, which is not shown on screen; where the video came from was not recorded.
A second upload of the spot, “Dairy Farmers of Washington - Moo Squad - PSA - Bones - Got Milk Commercial (1999)” (YouTube AtViHt_Yu5M, channel member berries, 2017), shows the same title frame and closes on a “got milk?” card (both in the gallery). The uploader says it aired on Saturday, October 23, 1999, or the Saturday before, during Batman Beyond on Kids’ WB. So the spot carried the got milk? line, which the Washington board used under licence from 1995 (Adweek, October 23, 1995, as read by the research pass); the year is the uploader’s. Moved from the mustache-less dairy pieces to the regional and unofficial section because it carries the got milk? line.
