“Merry Stachemas!” — Bozell holiday e-card (2008)

Release year:2008
Category:Regional or unofficial milk mustache piece
Collections:Regional and unofficial milk mustaches
Type:Agency holiday e-card

Notes

A holiday e-card from the advertising agency Bozell: an old snapshot of a child on which a dark stick-on moustache has been placed, with an arrow reading “GET ’STACHED”, buttons for a “’Stache Gallery” and the text “Merry Stachemas! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, there’s one decoration you must have this holiday season, and it goes on your face. That’s right, ’stache is the Tickle-Me-Elmo of 2008. So get yours today by taking the ’stache survey. Then show it off by sending it to your friends.” It is signed “Happy holidays from Bozell”.

This is agency self-promotion, not a milk ad: it mentions neither milk nor the campaign, and the moustaches are drawn stick-ons, not milk. It is kept here because Bozell was the agency that created the Milk Mustache campaign. The year is the one named in the card’s text.
