Notes
A one-column page section marked “PROMOTION” and headed “Got Prom?”, signed by a Seventeen Style Pro. It lists prom “must-haves” (a clutch, pumps, stacked rings, a headband) and ends with “Drink Milk” beside a glass of milk: “The best foundation for prom is more than just makeup. Prep for prom by drinking lowfat milk every day to help you feel beautiful from the inside out.” Below are the got milk? logo, bodybymilk.com, and “Enter the Got Prom? Sweeps!” with “Visit seventeen.com/gotprom to enter.”
The small print names the “Milk Got Prom? Sweepstakes, sponsored by Hearst Communications, Inc.”, open from March 9 to April 12, 2010 to girls aged 14–19 enrolled in high school. No person wears a milk mustache.
The same issue’s “CHECK IT OUT!” promotions page carries a block for the sweepstakes, “Milk “Got Prom?” Sweepstakes”, with the got milk? logo; it is shown below.
