CARTONS for COMPUTERS — Congrats to the winners of the 2nd Milk Mustache Cartons for Computers contest!

The contest, sponsored by the Milk Mustache campaign and the National Cheerleaders Association, challenged schools nationwide to up their milk intake over a one-month period and awarded prizes totaling nearly $100,000 to schools with the greatest increase in milk consumption. Grand prize honors were shared by cheerleaders from two schools: Springs of Life Christian School from Colorado Springs, CO (student enrollment below 1,100) and Bonanza High School from Las Vegas, NV (student enrollment above 1,100). Cheerleaders from Springs of Life Christian School helped motivate their school to drink 5,838% more milk by offering milk and cookie breaks to students between classes; students created and displayed their own milk mustache ads around the school. By winning the grand prize, the students are receiving the first computer lab the school has ever had. Squad members from Bonanza High School increased milk consumption by 526%. The Cartons for Computers contest was designed to help wipe out the nation's teen milk drought — 9 out of 10 teen girls don't get enough calcium and half don't drink milk at all.
